Natasha Makes Leesa Chandler 'Project Panel' Cream/Orange 60cm Increment

Melba Feature Panel Print - Inspired by Architecture and Interior Design from the 1920s including the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Melbourne, built in 1888 to house Queen Victoria's World Exhibition.

This design features bold motifs in a 24" design. Each motif is inspired by design features typical of the late 1800s, early 1900s including plasterwork, pressed ceilings, feature windows and wall features. You will find the Octagonal, Keyhole, Fan and Circle shapes featured in the ceiling domes, doors and windows at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Melbourne, that Dame Nellie Melba's father, Major Mitchell built in the late 1800s. This building is now the home of the annual Australasian Quilt Convention!

You can easily cut out each individual motif to use for individual blocks, embroidery purse, making small items such as needlework cases, placemats and Christmas Decorations. The design can also be used simply as large panels within a quilt, pretty aprons or a bed runners, cushions and café curtains.

In this particular Australis colour story on light cream background features rich shades of merlot, burnt oranges, leaf and sage greens with highlights in ivory and metallic gold.
