Hand embroidery as mindfulness therapy

Hello, my name is Siya Liu. I am the maker behind the name DoodleDuck Designs. I use traditional hand screen printing techniques to produce different ranges of products - from doll making craft kits to multicoloured A2 art prints. Most my works are inspired by my surroundings and often mixed with folk art traditions. My designs are elegant, decorative and you can often find a little mid-century twist such as geometric pattern details. I am originally from China but have lived in England for 15 years and I have been living in the West Yorkshire countryside over 10 years. If you’ve lived somewhere for a while, chances are you feel some pride for the place. Many of my print designs are inspired by the British countryside and the adventures I have on my many walks and bike rides.
